Follow-up examination in a known aortic aneurysm.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Fusiform dilatation of an infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm. No contrast extravasation to suggest leak or rupture.

Case Discussion

A complete work-up of aortic aneurysm on MRI must include transverse sections to visualize a potential parietal thrombus.
