Accessory hemiazygos vein

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

The CT images demonstrate an accessory hemiazygos vein draining into the left brachiocephalic vein.

Mild dilatation of the ascending aorta (AP diameter = 45 mm).

No significant lung lesion is seen.
