Pain back of heels.

Gender: Male
X-ray

Bilateral calcification of the Achilles tendon.

 

Case Discussion

Although more commonly observed in the rotator cuff of the shoulder, calcific tendinosis can occur at any tendon.

The calcification is typically amorphous and occurs close to the enthesis.
