Acute basilar artery occlusion

Acute motor deficits, nausea, dysarthria and speech impairment.

Patient Data

Age: 58 years
Gender: Male

CT and CTA Brain

Hyperdense material and filling defect at V4 segments of vertebral arteries and almost the entire extension of the trunk of the basilar artery consistent with thrombosis/occlusion.
