Basal ganglia hemorrhage (CT)

Acute right sided weakness.


Hyperdensity in the left basal ganglia consistent with hemorrhage.

Case Discussion

Basal ganglial hemorrhage is a common form of intracerebral hemorrhage, and usually as a result of poorly controlled long standing hypertension.
